One terrorist gunned down in Baramulla, encounter still underway in North Kashmir

An encounter is underway between terrorists and security forces in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district after the extremists opened fire when the forces cordoned off the area following a tip-off on Thursday morning.

“One unidentified terrorist has been killed in the encounter with police and security forces at Wanigam Payeen Kreeri area of Baramulla. The operation is still on,” the Kashmir Zone Police said.
