Chhetri War Memorial inaugurated: Know the Indian heroes who fought China in 1975

Chhetri War Memorial” was inaugurated on November 2 at Tulung La pass by Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu commemorating the ultimate sacrifice made by four soldiers of Assam Rifles against Chinese forces, forty-five years ago.
The memorial is located 17,000 feet above sea level at Tulung La pass, close to Indo-Tibet border and is a few kilometres from Bum La in Arunachal Pradesh.

In 1975, Lance naik Nar Bahadur Chhetri along with Riflemen Ganesh Bahadur Chhetri, Krishan Bahadur Chhetri and Nar Bahadur Chhetri of 5 Assam Rifles laid down their lives fighting Chinese forces.
