Indian Army ready to give misguided youth a chance to surrender

Indian Army on Monday said that it was ready to give all misguided youth militants a chance to return to mainstream and surrender. The Army said at least 250 to 300 terrorists were waiting to inflitrate Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.

Lt General BS Raju GOC Chinar Corp said that these terrorists were waiting at their launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. However, he said, the Army was ready to give them a chance to surrender.

“We will give a chance to all misguided youth militants to return to the mainstream and facilitate for surrender,”
Lt General BS Raju said.

“The situation in Kashmir is improving,” he said.

The statement comes a few days after an over-ground associate of a militant in Kashmir surrendered before security forces in Budgam. The dramatic video of the surrendered was shared on social media by the Chinar Corps.
