Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorists prepare hit lists to threaten civilians, govt employees and security personnel

On August 29 and September 2, terrorist leaders acting under instruction from across the border, conspired with some of their overground associates and prepared hit lists in a bid to threaten civilians, govt employees and security personnel against serving the public, Jammu and Kashmir police said on Thursday.

“Terrorist leaders acting under instruction from across conspired with some of their overground associates and other anti-social elements and prepared hit lists containing names and details of civilians, activists, political workers and security personnel,” the news agency ANI quoted Police as saying.

According to the police, the hit lists were uploaded and circulated with help of cyber OGWs, apparently with 2 motives – use it as a direction to other terrorists operating elsewhere and their associates to target these people and to terrorise civilians, govt employees and security personnel from serving the public.
