Indian Army meal: What do troops eat at LAC?

As the Indian Army prepares to keep a watchful eye on China at the border for the long haul, and as harsh winters approach at the inhospitable terrain in the frontiers near Leh, the Defence Research and Developmental Organisation has come up with a way to ensure that fresh vegetables are available for the troops deployed in the freezing cold temperatures.

The DRDO has found a way to grow greens in negative temperatures with tools like passive greenhouse technology, zero energy-based technique storage, and microgreens.
