GoAir’s chief commercial officer Praveen Iyer has quit the airline, a month after its CEO Vinay Dube resigned and two weeks after head of flight operations Nikhil Ved left, said multiple sources in the know.
The low fare carrier has, since its inception, seen frequent top level exits. It has worsened since 2019. Vinay Dube, former CEO of India’s oldest private and now defunct airline, joined the airline as CEO in February and quit in August. He was replaced by old Wadia group hand Kaushik Khona.
In February last year, Cornelis Vrieswijk quit as CEO after just 9 months of joining the airline. Managing Director Jeh Wadia was de facto CEO in the interim before Dube joined.
The two executives to exit most recently, Iyer and Ved, were also former senior executives at Jet.
