Patience is running out for India. As if we didn’t have enough border issues with Pakistan, China and Nepal have lately upped the ante along the international borders for territorial supremacy and diplomatic warfare.
Pakistan and China are separated from India by the Line of Control and Line of Actual Control. But, Nepal and India have shared an open border for decades and now the Himalayan nation has suddenly raised demand for a new territorial map, allegedly at China’s behest, much to India’s chagrin.
Sensing that their country is no match for any kind of military confrontation with India, Nepalese Foreign Minister and Defence Minister have called for a dialogue between the two countries to resolve the matter.
