COVID-19: CRPF goes hand-in-hand with Govt to prevent spread

The country’s largest para-military force, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), has decided to go hand-in-hand with the Government agencies, for the containment of the spread of Novel Coronavirus.

Keeping in view the prevailing emergent situation in the country, the CRPF, along with it’s 246 Battalions located at various locations, has decided to go all out, to extend a helping hand to the state agencies in combating the COVID-19 pandemic, as best as possible.

‘With our pan India presence, it has been decided by Director General Dr AP Maheshwari, in consultation with all Commanders, to offer our resources to the States in our respective areas of deployment, to augment the resources of States, who are the first responders wherever they feel any gaps, deficiency,’ DIG M Dinakaran told UNI.
