The allocation of land in the upcoming defence corridor is being done on the first-come-first-serve basis by Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA).

UPEIDA has stated that representatives of 10 companies, which signed MoU with the government during the Defence Expo-2020, held a meeting with the chief executive officer, UPEIDA, Awanish Awasthi on Thursday.

The meeting, held at UPEIDA headquarters in Gomtinagar, discussed the land allocation for 10 companies in the 5,000 hectare area of the defence corridor.
