China may deploy aircraft carrier in IOR, says Navy commander
China will deploy its aircraft carrier in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) in the coming years, said Flag Officer Commanding in Chief of Southern Naval Command Vice Admiral AK Chawla on Sunday.
He was giving a talk on ‘China’s maritime strategy’, which was organized by the Indian Maritime Foundation to mark its 26th anniversary.
